Mr. Claycomb is currently the Technical Director of JKMO to the United States and Bahrain.

He began his martial arts journey at the age of seven and has trained internationally & locally with several mentors and high-ranking instructors. His first mentor was Sensei Mark Kupsz 3rd Dan WTKF, The chief instructor of the Burleigh Shotokan Karate Club in Wales, whom Yousef considers to be the foundation and main influence of his knowledge.  He has also trained with Shihan Phil Dutton (7th Dan) former Welsh national Karate team captain from the British martial arts association (BMAA), Shihan Mehrdad Sadri (7th Dan) Vice president of the World Kanzen Budo Kai Federation & former USA National KATA & Weapons Champion, Shihan Morteza Alborzi (8th Dan) former USA National Team Coach, Iranian National Team Captain & Coach, Former W.U.K.O. Bronze Medalist & President of the World Kanzen Budo Kai Federation (WKBKF). Currently Mr. Claycomb is under the direct tutelage of Master Instructor Toshiatsu Sasaki 8th Dan the President of (JKMO) All played a positive role in Mr. Claycomb's growth and experience.

Mr. Claycomb's experience in the martial arts also includes Kung fu, Tae Kwon do, Judo, Kobudo, Shito ryu & Goju ryu Karate.

He is now the owner & head instructor of the Academy of Karate in Duarte, CA and is now celebrating his tenth year in business with a very developed and dedicated student base in all ranks.
